Job Description

We are looking for a Team Executive to join our Divisional Management Team in the North West Operations Directorate based at our Manchester Office.

You will have excellent Customer Service skills, and have experience of drafting responses to customer correspondence for a variety of target audiences. You will hold the ability to challenge senior members of staff where appropriate, to ensure that correspondence is completed on time and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide flexible business support, as may be required to deliver projects and work streams to time, quality and within budget.
  • Embed a strong customer centred ethos through the efficient and prompt addressing and answering of customer issues raised in correspondence.
  • Manage specific pieces of work to meet objectives, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed.
  • Provide a quality and timely service to the Division and senior managers in managing, monitoring, coordinating and providing answers, within restricted time scales, to general customer enquiries, FOIs and high level correspondence. Liaise with other areas of the business to collate and review supporting information as appropriate.
  • Provide secretarial cover for PA to the Divisional Director during periods of absence or when requested by Business Manager.

Skills, qualifications and experience

Essential

  • Experience in a customer service environment, responding to customer correspondence
  • Proven high-level knowledge of office software products to enable development, production and maintenance of a range of databases, spreadsheets and complex documents
  •  Experience of  working effectively in an office environment, deliver an efficient customer service, or support delivery of projects through a project office function

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act / Environmental Information Regulations
  • Experience of supporting senior management through effective diary and mailbox management.
