Job Description

To contribute to the delivery of programmes and projects; providing flexible administrative support. Work to tight deadlines, whilst providing a quality service.

Day to Day:

  • Provide support to Programme Support Manager
  • Organise and prepare for project reviews
  • Provide customer liaison, explaining and clarifying issues with members of the public, stakeholders and business partner
  • Respond to written correspondence/enquiries within required timescales, liaising with Assistant Project Manager to ensure accuracy and tone is correct.
  • Identify efficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement of services  target
  • Review and update plans and communications.
  • Manage and update financial/programme forecasts.
  • Comply with statutory and internal process and procedure and maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
  • To oversee and assist with the collation and analysis of data as required.
  • Effectively monitor and coordinate the flow of information into project inboxes, ensuring that all requests are actioned appropriately within given timescales.
  • Provide financial project support utilising internal financial systems ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to improvements which minimise risk to the health, safety and welfare of colleagues and stakeholders and carry out any tasks identified to the post in the Level 2 and relevant 2a Organisational Health & Safety RACI charts (training will be provided)

About you: 

  • Competent user of Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience of working in a project support role / project environment 
  • Experience of working in an office environment
