Job Description

As Business Manager you will provide strong leadership and guidance to the team, encouraging the development of capability to improve business performance through continuous improvement of work methods.

Managing and providing support to project teams, assisting in the delivery of projects and work streams to time, quality and within budget.

Day to Day:

Prioritise delivery of tasks according to business need maintaining continuous efficient work flow at all times

Responsible for providing support to the project team ensuring capacity needs are met and producing resource plans for forward planning

Embed a strong customer focused culture through efficient practice and effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective flow of reporting and information

Manage reporting, resources; planning; forecasting; and monitoring against budget to inform decision making

Develop an engaged, high performing team that delivers projects and work streams with improved efficiency.

Contribute to improvements which minimise risk to the health, safety and welfare of colleagues.

Responsible for the teams’ continuous learning, encouraging a culture of self-improvement – building capability to meet the needs of the projects.

Provide support to Programme Coordination Manager

 

About you: 

  • Experience of managing teams in administrative support.
  • Experience of working in a projects environment.
  • Proficiency in a range of office software products, including Word, Excel and Power Point) to enable production / maintenance of a range of complex documents, spreadsheets and management reports.
  • Demonstrable evidence of engaging with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • A strong track record of delivering to objectives and achievements in a customer focussed organisation.
